A question for you clever people out there !
when I'm doing small lights for spaces ship etc, I nomally use a
luminance map of white dot's on a black background, this works fine for
stills but when the ship moves and the lights are very small in the picture
they flikker madly (I know its because the pixels in the image map are
smaller than the pixels on screen) The only way I've found to stop this
(pixel blending and picture antialiasing helps) is to increase(decrease?)
the edge threshold to about '8' with low antialiasing. This slows down
rendering (pass me a Raptor !) and is'nt totaly succesfull.
Anyone Any Ideas ?
